Candice here, founder of Orijin Jewelry. If you've been around a while then you know how excited I was to be featured in Jillian Harris' "The Jilly Box".
It has been a whirlwind ever since and I wanted to share with you how our Pearl Studs came to be featured in the Jilly Box.
If you're wondering what the Jilly Box is let me tell you a bit more, it is a beautifully curated quarterly subscription box created by Jillian Harris (former TV host, designer, and style icon) alongside her business partner Tyler Evans.
They launched it in 2019 as a way to share Jillian’s favourite things but what makes it truly special is the intention behind it: supporting small businesses like us and supporting women owned brands.
What makes The Jilly Box so special is the intention behind every detail. The Jilly Box features products from small, sustainable, women-owned, and diverse brands across North America, creating space for stories like ours to be seen. Each seasonal box is carefully curated around a theme, telling a story through every piece inside. The theme for the box we were in was "Amour" a very European ( think Paris ) theme with a focus on indulgence, luxury and the little pleasures in life.
How it all started ....
In early 2025 I began emailing with the amazing procurement team about a potential collaboration. Based on the theme of the box I knew the pearls were the perfect fit! Now, we had to figure out the packaging. I loved how the team pushed me out of my comfort zone on this one. In our 5 years of existence we have gone through 2 different microfibre pouches and 1 box. (If you're an OG here, you might have all 3).
After seeing our latest black box the team had requests in order for it to fit the theme of the box and we were ready to deliver!!!
We started with finding the perfect "red" to match the "Amour" theme and then developed a care card and landed on a drawer style box with a raised, textured logo and text called "blind embossing"
Every detail of the unboxing experience from the first glimpse of the packaging to the moment the earrings are worn is intentionally designed to create a feel-good moment.
Being part of this box, alongside so many incredible brands is amazing.
